The "U" in the part number reflects product packaged in poly bag. All cables can stay connected to the unit while in the RAM cradle. The cradle includes a set of four nuts and bolts to connect the cradle to any of the RAM compatible mounts. The RAM-2461U (75mm X 75mm VESA plate) is used to connect to the back of the Powered Dock. The RAM-2461U is not included with the purchase of the RAM-HOL-MOT9PU.
